Guest Ventriloquist
Invite Roderick Carson to be a guest ventriloquist at your school! The ventriloquism program is from pre-K through third grade. The program involves puppetry and student participation. Through the use of ventriloquism and edutainment (educational entertainment), Roderick's good-humored personality allows students to have fun and show how ventriloquism can be used as an educational tool for learning experiences. Workshops offer instruction in puppetry, ventriloquism, and stagecraft fundamentals. Participants will be shown how to create a hand puppet from basic materials. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to practice with a hand puppet. Roderick discusses topics such as bullying, reading, and positive behavior. *For other venues, please specify in the booking section.
